| About Caroline |
| First, I imagine that if you have found my website today you are going through some sort of life difficulty and you are thinking that you need someone to talk to. Now you have the difficulty of deciding who that someone is. Feel free to request my guide, “Guidelines for Choosing a Therapist.” It offers advice on questions you may want to ask a potential counselor over the phone. I believe that therapy should be about you, the Client. But, you also have the right to know about your therapist’s qualifications. I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in the State of California (license number #40947). I am a Clinical Member of both the California Association of Marriage Family Therapists and the American Association. I graduated in 1993 from Cornell University with my BS in Labor Relations. I worked in a variety of administrative and management positions in the work force. I had bosses, co- workers, employees, deadlines, and paperwork. Believe me, I understand work place stress. I then earned my Master of Arts in Psychology from Phillips Graduate Institute. My private practice is limited to adults. Most of my clients come to see me because they are having problems at work, have been feeling sad lately, or are worried about their relationship. Like any relationship, it is hard to get a good feel for someone until you actually speak with that person. That is why I offer a free initial phone consultation. Even after we meet for an in person session, if you do not think we are a good fit, I will be more than happy to refer you to another therapist that might be a better fit for you. I hope to talk to you soon! |
